A cookie is a small file which stores certain information on the browsing of users; it is sent by websites to users’ terminals (computers, tablets, etc.). Cookies allow the user's device to be identified whenever they access the website, so that the website itself runs more efficiently, enriching the user’s experience and providing information to website owners.

Some cookies are automatically deleted at the end of the browsing session, while others are stored in the terminals, usually hosted on the browser that is user (for example: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.). Current legislation on privacy identifies two categories of cookies. These are:

• those for which it is enough for the website manager to provide a policy;

• those for which a policy is not enough, since the individual user must provide prior consent.

For further information on cookies and privacy please refer to the document produced by the Italian Data Protection Authority.

Some cookies may be set on one of the following domains, 2o7.net or omtrdc.net, which are used by some Adobe tools to measure, again anonymously, primarily the number and type of visitors to the site.
